Canon IXUS 120 vs. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX37 / FX38
 

Hiya all

I'm absolutely torn between these 2 cameras and would like to hear your thoughts on what you'd choose based on image quality?

The Lumix has a wider wide-angle which is great, the Canon is a bit smaller physically which is good also. However my number 1 priority is image quality.

Any thoughts / experience?

Image quality is good for both, though Panasonic colors tend to be more quiet than Canon. Easily #1 problem for the FX37/38 against the IXUS 120 is the slow auto focus for the FX37/38. Most shoppers would see that as a deal breaker and buy the Canon. On the other hand, the FX37/38 should be a heck of a lot lower price than the IXUS 120?!?!
