I agree, but the physic with the ef and ef-s adapter will make this camera the size of the nx and g1. It looks like the nx will be smaller the the g1, and when the source said it will be smaller the m4/3. It leaves allot of room, as the GH1 and G1 are allot larger then the GF1 and epen's. The physic of the larger sensor would make it tough to make a pen size camera right now that can take the ef lenses.

I do not disagree that canon does not want to get tied up with the 4/3 consortium. Since they are the biggest maker in the world.

My point was simply this: if Canon went m4/3 they would have to pay a lot of money to Panasonic and Olympus to join the consortium. My avoiding the m4/3 format they can compete easily and do not have to pay any royalities.

Have a great day.

I am, I have seen the rumors of the 60D and have been waiting, not for the 60D, but for 50D prices to come down a little more.

Hmm, the EVIL sounds very interesting to me.

A 2.4 crop means the image circle is a whole lot smaller than I was hoping for, but the possibility of using my EF lenses and Speedlight might just keep me in the Canon fold, which I guess is what they want: trying to stop Canon owners buying M4/3 cameras in such huge numbers.

Very excited to see what the other manufacturers come up with. Sony in particular have a rumored EVIL with a tasty set of Zeiss lenses, and Nikon will be coming to the party too without a doubt.

My big advantage is that I don't need a lot of lenses; a 50mm equivalent and a 28mm equivalent is all I want.

If anyone comes in with a flat-bodied FF sensor camera then I'll be selling up all my Canon stuff faster than a rat out of an aquaduct.

How exciting.
