I am struggling to decide which camera to buy. My Cybershot from Sony just recently died and I need a new one.

Canon PowerShot A480 10.0MP or Sony CyberShot DSCS950 10.1MP -
The upside of the Sony is that I have a 2gig duo card for it. The downside is my last camera was a sony cybershot and died on me without notice.

The Canon is $139.00 and the Sony is $159.00

I have read both reviews and they seem to like both cameras. I don't know if they are in the same class.

Any thought? Much much appreciated. And thanks for the reviews, they are awesome!!

Am I leaving out some information on this?

At that price levelyou couldalsotake a look atthe new Panasonic FS7. Search around and it's still possible to find more expensive cameras from last year, that are now being cleared out at this price level. Examples: Canon SD1100, Sony W130, Sony W150. These models will get you a few more features. And they would be my choice over the budget price '09 models. Here is a link to another thread on these -

Yes. All Sony compacts get that DSC prefix, so many of us just ignore that part of the name. Here is a link to a full review of the W150 -
