Konica Minolta is leaving the market, so that's why I am not that enthusiastically going after their cameras.
Even if EBay has many things available, I have been ripped off too many times to try their stuff again. Something newer would be great, that was why I was looking at the Canon S3IS, and the Sony H2 and H5, which are image stabilized, user friendly, take decent pictures, and have hopefully, a low level of noise. I would believe that the Carl Zeiss lens in the H2/H5 would prove superior over the generic Canon Lens, so I was leaning towards the Sony cameras, and recently they were marketing their cameras as having excellent noise control. |

I had another look at the H2, and felt perhaps this could be the one.
The H5 crams another 1 Megapixel into the same 1/2.5 sensor, so I presume the image quality would possibly suffer as a result. The H2, with 6 MP, probably is cheaper and better. |

I honestly thought that we had abandoned the first thread and were indeed working on the new/or #2 thread. In as much as I am really busy right now with personal committments and contract photo shoots, I hope that you will excuse me. I will not be contributing further to this thread.
