Hi all,
I have narrowed down to these two cameras. What's important to me is: -shutter lag (i take alot of shots of animals, and the camera needs to act quickly!) -i will be enlarging photos to 11 x 14 (need them to be CRISP) -i take close-ups often! -i would like to have a decent "movie mode" -good battery life I am leaning towards the Nikon because I am comfortable with their reputation....but why do I keep finding the Nikon 100$ cheaper? Is there a "con" to this camera that I am unaware of? THANKS!!!!! |

Unless you're going to be shooting animals in a zoo, you might want to consider a megazoom camera. You have to get pretty close with a 3X...
