I want one that does well in the long zoom and also one that could handle art galleries and museums that do not allow flash. Not sure I would take much for action shots. Do like to take pictures of architecture. I have and Oly C2040 but don't want to have to carry two cameras if I can help it.
3 or 4MP would be enough, most all of my pictures are 4x6, occasionally an 5x7 or 8x10. Movie mode is not high on the list. I guess I would still like a camera that has some growth potential but I am pretty much an out of the box person. I don‘t want to have to use a tripod. I do want to put on a UV filter right away to protect the lense. Which would be easier, do either need an adapter tube to accomadate the filter or can they just be added?
Is there a little shorter zoom camera that would fit these needs that has IS?
I think I can buy the Canon cheaper than the Pan by about 25 to 30 dollars. What to do?
Picking a camer is hard work!
