Is megapixel count the only difference between these two.

But both these cameras are really nice carry around cameras. Excellent options for a novice to a amateur shooter. Some settings are really nice and RAW can help a lot.



but can somebody throw light on whether S70 and S60 just differ by meg count alone.

The S60 and S70 utilize different sensors which besides the lens, is the most critical component of a digital camera. The S70's is better.....
