Default Canon S90 vs the SX200? is the only dif being the zoom?

Ok. New Thread ... Im down to two choices ... Canon S90 vs the SX200.

The thing is I LOVE the image quality of the S90 but wish the Leica Zoom lens thats in the Panasonic Lumix ZS3 was in the S90. I know that cant actually happen but is the SX200 close to that dream? Love the 25mm wide angle lens in the ZS3 but could live with the 28mm in the S90.

RECCO for the two cameras mentioned above?

Is the only thing different between these two cameras the ZOOM??

no, the sx200is and the s90 have completely different sensors.

the s90 uses a lower megapixel higher sensitivity sensor that is very low in noise, giving it outstanding image quality. the sx200is uses a more densely packed sensor that doesn't do well in low-light.

the sx200is is a direct competitor to the zs3, but actually, the zs3 outperforms it.
