Hi, I'm a new member, but have been lurking here for a while now. I am considering purchasing either the Canon SD630 or the SD700IS.

I have checked out both cameras and like both of them. I cant decide if the 4X optical and the IS on the SD700 is worth an additional $100. I really liked the 3" LCD on the SD630.

Does anyone have any feedback on either of these two cameras? Do the zoom and the IS really ake that much of a difference in the quality of the pictures?
