(EDITED: I have changed my mind and am now looking at the Casio Z750 or Z850 instead of the s600)
Hi guys: I am torn between the Casio ex-Z750/Z850 and the Nikon P4. My three big reasons for this camera in order of importance: 1. Clear Movie Clips (mpeg4 preferred, but mov will do) 2. Macro Abilities 3. Everyday pocket camera that I can use on the fly I was very impressed with the movie clips shown at casio.com (http://www.casio.com/products/Cameras/Exilim_Card/EX-S600EO/content/Gallery/). They were crystal clear and large. I cannot find a "demo" movie from the Nikon and would like to know how it compares. If the movie clips are equivalent to the Casio, I am sold. The Casio lacked in the macro capabilities. I could not get very close to the lens, and have always been impressed with Nikon's macro functions but want to make sure that Nikon's movies are as clear as the Casio's. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I do not care the the megapixel sizes differ. I would only use a 5 mp setting most of the time anyway. |
