hi there,

am totally confused as to what dig camera i should go for

the choice i have narrowed it down to:

casio ex-z40 - good for size, big screen but have heard not good images,

nikon coolpix 4200 - great camera, bit bigger, smaller screen, but i think gd photos, battery life is a bit dubious

any adivce would be much appreciated

Having bought the Z40 if you like your pictures crisp & sharp DONT NOT buy this camera. The Nikon however I have heard is nice picture quality...between the two I would go for the Nikon

thanks for the advice, i agree i think the nikon by name is better for images but i usually only get 5x7 pics so im just questioning whether i would be able to tell the difference?

i think the casio is better for screen, menus, style & cradle,

nikon bit bulkier, but lightweight - you usually know that photos are good quality?!

its a strange old thing!
