Ok, I need some help! I'm looking to buy a digital camera (I own an Olympus D-550 ZOOM) I loved my olympus but it's pretty much dead. I have picked out these two cameras:
Casio Exilim EX S500 Olympus 710 I know these aren't the BEST cameras but it's whati can afford and it's fine for what I need it for. Ifound them for pretty much the same price and I am leaning towards the Olympus. Any advice??? Or any other cameras in this range which would be better? Thank you!!! |

I have a 710 that I'm very happy with. My roomate uses a stylus 310 that has been working great for years.

Have you had a problem with image quality? I want to be able to print up to 8x10 without having problems with quality.
Thank you so much for your input! |

8x10? wouldn't a higher resolution camera be a better choice? im not real tech-savvy with digicams, but i do know the bigger the better! and the s500 is 5 mpx's, rite? how about considering the s600? I was looking at that one, but I'm real vain about the camera's looks.. the ex-z60 looks sexier.. just b/c of the brushed metal -- but there seems to be not much difference between the s600 and z60.. biggest difference I see is the price! $100 less for the z60... smaller differences are the size (pfft!), usb speed, movie quality, battery life.... !!! :angry:sorry if i went crazy on your post!
