I am told that I should look into a camera which has the CMOS sensors. Could someone please direct me to a few of such cameras?
Thank you in advance. Nathan |

Cmos sensors are put into Canon DSLRs, where they work very nicely. I cannot really tell the difference between CCDs (the other sensor type) and cmos. I only know, that these cmos sensors in use are fairly large in comparison to the average ccds (of course there are also big ccds).
If you want a camera with a cmos sensor you will have to buy a canon slr (digital rebel xt or 20 D for example) or the new Sony R1. The latter is - as far as I know - the only fixed lens system with a cmos sensor. ivan |
