I want to buy my 15 year old daughter a good small digital camera. She likes to take photos at concerts. Is there a compact camera that has a decent flash for indoor shots?

No.
IMHO, all built in flash are junk. Small (glare), low power, close to the lens (red eye), and slow to recycle. Some are better than others, but none are really good. The smaller the camera, the worse the flash. |

![]() Flash should not affect concert images unless it is a more powerful add-on and she is right up very near the stage and of course most concerts say no flash and some even say no cameras. The Fujii cameras like the F10 have higher ISO ratings but haven't tried mine yet at a concert. Normally there is enough light onstage to take decent picures as long as there is not a lot of movement (drummer's movement may blur arms etc.) and you're not at too far a distance to the stage. |
