I have bacically narrowed it down to two camera's

Canon Powershot SD600

Casio Exilim EX-S600

I am also open up to others. I want a ultra compact camera. Which one should I get?

Canon PowerShot SD600 is highly recommended

If you're up for something a little cheaper, there is always the Nikon L2 (its compact and it uses regular AA batteries)

If you want a camera that is really fast, then Casio is a good choice. The Canon is a good speed too. The Nikon L2 is a bit on the slow side but nothing that'll spoil the fun.

Money really isn't too much of an obstical for me as long as it can be under $500. Is there anything about the Casio that is going to be significantly worse than the Cannon? (I just prefer the looks of the Casio) and if they're bacically the same then I would go with the Casio, but if the Cannon is better than I would do that also.

I just know that the leading brands in camera's are Cannon, Menalta, Pentax, and Nikon. I'm just a wee bit shy on the Casio
