Can we say that same for z-915 vs z-950? Same sensor sizes but higher MP? What about their image quality? Could you compare them wth their specs?

Yes, pixel density is indeed a problem with the Z-950. I always suggest the Z-915 first. The SX-130 does even better with HD video, but when you zoom in an HD video, you will have to re-focus.

The result is that a dedicated camcorder will always do better with videos than any digital camera. And that you are also always going to get better image quality when you use flash in lowly lighted photo environments. That is why they put the flash on your camera.
