Hey, I've been looking for a compact camera for a while and was seriously leaning towards the canon sd elph series. Then I borrowed a friends and took some pictures. My kids have red eye problems in every single picture! I never had this problem with my olympus 3000. From what I've been able to find, I guess compact cameras have this problem. Are there any compact cameras that don't have this problem without using the red eye flash mode?
Thanks |

rocker-
Red-eye is a problem of the built-in flash unit being too close to the lens. Therefore red-eye is a real problem in smaller /compact cameras. The Fuji E-900 is reported http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/fu...x_e900-review/ to have some of the least red-eye problems in small cameras. Some cameras in the Nikon line and several others have in camera removal of red-eye. MT |
