I'm planning to buy a new camera next week, but I'm still wondering which one.

My first option is the new Ixus SD630 (ixus 65) and my second is the olympus mju 700 (710, wheaterproof) All the camera's have different options, but I want the camera which takes the best pictures. Of the canon there are no reviews yet, so that's why I ask it here.

Which one would you choose?

However, we can look to other members of the Canon SD series and of the Olympus Stylus series for some clues. I have owned both the Stylus 600 and Stylus 800. Both were small, convenient cameras, but their images were less than great and particularly on the Stylus 800, the in camera processing actually left visible artefacts in the finished image.

On the other hand, the Canon SD series has quite uniformly received excellent reviews. I did find the Steve has already done a review on the Stylus 710:
