A friend of mine wants to buy a digital camera, and she doesn't have much money to spend. I think it makes sense to buy a second hand model from ebay, but it's very difficult to browse there as there is so much spam-type noise in the digital camera section below a certain price. It is necessary to have in mind a few specific options...

For example, I have seen in completed listings a Fuji F200 for £50, which I know is a fine camera as I have used one for a few years now... but we're probably looking for something cheaper than that.

You might want to look at the refurbished Kodak Cameras. They are simple, price right, and guaranteed for 1 year.
