I've read the review here and on other websites
they all mention the purple fringe issue
I would like to hear more about this, is it really that bad...is it constantly bad or bad enought to turn someone away from purchasing it?
thanks
syphon-
Purple Fringing is not a huge problem with most oftoday's cameras. Five to eight years ago it was a measurably larger problem. However, as digital camera progressed, getting more megapixels, and better lenses, the problem has decreased. Today, we only see it primarily in heavily backlighted scenes.
The attached clipping from author, Vincent Bockaert's book "123 Digital Imaging" explains the phenomena and shows an example.
