I have recently purchased a Swarovski ATS 80HD spotting scope with matching DCB camera mount. The DCB is an excellent ficture allowing the camera to swing in-line rather than screwed onto the front lens. I have taken some good shots already but my existing casio QVR60 is not up to the job. The main shortfalls are lack of remote shutter release and poor shutter speeds/ control with the flash disabled. As I get more into digiscoping thedesirablae specification items are :
- Remote shutter control (cable or remote control) [/*]
- Fastshutter speeds without flash (more real time shots) [/*]
- At least 3 X optical zoom to eliminate vignetting effect [/*]
- Excellent battery life [/*]
- Squat shape as oppose to tall and slim [/*]
- Tripod mount in centre position rather than at one side[/*]
Any help sourcing the correct camera would be most welcome
