Hi guys
Looking to replace my Polaroid 3.2mp camera and been looking at a few different camera's but really need some help / advice which is the best one / value for money. Don't really want to spend over £150 / $300 either ![]() Anyway I have tried out both a Fuji F455 / Kodak V530 (both 5mp) and was quite impressed with them. Have seen the Fuji F470 replaces the F455 and thought this looked good. However I've also seen the F11 zoom and can't work out which is the better camera - can anyone advise (please I am not technical). Also looking at the Kodak V603 which is 6mp and have also been told to look at the Casio and Canon ranges but don't really know which ones I should be looking at and stuff. Any advice please on the best kind of camera for everyday use / nothing reall specific but just a good compact cam with good battery life and easy to use. Also is it that much better to have an SD or XD card camera. Cheers WJUK :| |

WJUK-
The Fuji F-30 is a great camera but probably out of your budget range in the UK. That makes the Fuji F-11 your choice. Both cameras are excellent camera with unique low light shooting qualities as a bonus. Here is an F-30 sample, and it is a100% crop. MT |

That's a great quality image cheers.
I guess I want to know whether the F11 is a better camera than a F470. I have also seen the Casio Z600 within my price range (SD card too). How does this compare to the F11/F470? Cheers WJUK |

WJUK-
Perhaps my answer reflects my interest in low light level shooting. However, IMHO the F-11 offers everything that the F-470 has PLUS a great low light shoot capability. The F-11 is simply a camera with more features. MT |

Cheers guys
I think I'm gonna plump for the F11 as it looks awesome although a m8 recommended a Casio Exilim Z600 which is about £5 more expensive. Can anyone tell me if this is a better camera or a basic comparison please? Cheers WJUK |

This is just a personal opinion, please understand that. However, I feel that the Fuji F-11 is the better choice. MT |

WJUK-
In my personal opinion the Fuji F-30 or even the F-10 or F-11 are much better choices than the Casio Z-750. The Z-750 has a record of lens errors, and the auto exposure is often no exactly on the mark, the Fuji camera photos, especially the F-30, are much sharper when using the auto mode, than the Casio Z120, the Z-750, and the Z-850, and the Fuji cameras can handle high ISO settings much better than Casio cameras, allowing you to take photos without flash inside with ease. The attached photo, taken with a Fuji F-30,was taken, inside, without flash, and handheld. Notice the excelent exposure, the sharpness, and the clarity of the photo. MT |
