I am looking for a camera that can take video with following requirements:

The video needs to be about 4 minutes each, but i will need to take about 6 to 10 per day.
It will be used for that every couple weeks.
Video needs to be somewhat stable.

As for pictures, most of them will be for the web.

I would go for a camcorder, but I think that i will use it more for pictures then video.

Here is an example of what it will be used for

The file is 36mb taken with a camcorder

thanks in advance,

The canon S2 has excellent video capabilities, check out the reviews.

steve,

I agree with JTF, that the S2 IS has excellent video quality, but for your intended use, I think you would be better served by a video camera. The S2 will take a little less than 8 minutes of video with a 1 GB card (at the highest quality setting), and assuming you could fit two of your 4 minute videos on one card (although if one goes over 4 minutes, you'll lose some action), what would you do...buy four or five 1 GB cards and change cards after every other clip?...bring a laptop with you and upload each video right after you take it? Sounds like more hassle than it's worth.

I liked your video.

Sanyo C6? It's a really tiny pocketable cameracorder. Check Steve's C6 review, and the Sanyo forum.
