Wow! Nice batteries.

Have you had much experience with high voltage batteries?
Can the camera handle that voltage safely? (Is there a rating listed somewhere on the camera or in the manual?)

Perhaps the high voltage explains your good experience...

I figure since I looked over the cameras for the past 2 years of reviews and cannot find anything that I like better than the sx130, that I will probably buy it.
Pending on how my batteries perform I might have to just go with the ones you have (if they are safe to use).

Yes, those batteries (Power GenX AA's available at Amazon) are perfectly safe for use in any camera, including the SX-130.
