I wanted to get a slim camera. I know that T7 is the slimmest one on the market, but little did I know that it's actually bigger that T9. I checked it today at store. I leaned toward getting it DSC-T9 now
which one would you advise to buy? T9 or T7? I'm looking for small, easy to shoot, good quality camera. Please let me know asap. thanks! |

The T7 is 5.2 cu in and 115g empty. The T9 is 6.6 cu in and 134g empty. The T9 is substantially fatter.
But there is an enormous difference in the cameras. The T7 has a pitifully weak flash good to only 5 feet at wide and less at telephoto. The T9 flash isn't great but it is at least useable at around 9 feet. The T9 has true optical image stabilization and better than average ISO400 noise. It also has a large internal memory. And it gets around 240 shots per charge compared to 150 on the T7. If someone gave me a T7 I would just pass it on to the kids. But the T9 appears to be a competent camera. |
