No just normal family outdoor night stuff. Rc stuff goes day and night all outdoors. The rc track has tons of light though during the night. Its like light at a football field but I can get very close to the track. Originally Posted by shoturtle
How much low light shooting do you do? The main reason I got the T1i is sometimes, I shoot in club, where it is really dark. And I match it with a bright lens, and use 3200 or 6400 iso as I do not want to use a flash. But if you plan on using flash for you family gathering, the iso is not that big of a deal. with the t1i do i need to buy another lens up front or will the stock lens that it comes with be ok for now. I have to assume that the stock t1i lens is 10 times better than the current point and shoot 4 year old kodak that i use. Yes or no
