Flynn,
I`d go with your heart (though my heart would have no interest in Olympus)... but, of course this is better, if you can afford it. Please keep us posted on your experience with both cameras. - Bpp |

Hi Shooters,
I just saw the video of the Olympus Supersonic Wave Filter ... Interesting. But the Supersonic Wave Filter is placed _between_ the Low Pass Filter and the CCD. Now, I am not a DSLR camera engineer by any chance. But I was just wondering what if there is dust on the Low Pass Filter. Somehow the video didnt make it "clear" that the filter will vibrate the Low Pass Filter or the CCD ??? I also just saw the Canon EOS400D anti dust feature video. Canon shakes up the Low Pass Filter. This is kinda confusing ... can anybody comment on this. BTW, just got a Canon EOS350D. I am seriously thinking about returning it and returning to my original plans of getting a K100D body and Sigma 18-200. (The original than original plan was to decide between a Fuji S9500 and Sony DSC R1) I think k100D + a sigma 18-200 will place me in a position where I wont have to change lenses too frequently. And in body anti shake is _definitely_ of some value ... when compared with the cost of Canon IS Lenses and Nikon VR lenses and Sigma OS lenses and ... :O Cheers, -- Gaggu |

The Super Sonic Wave Filter is nice but, unfortuanatly not the total answer. Every DSLR camera will, at sometime, need cleaning, and that is not at all difficult. MT |

The cleaning feature is nice, but can add to the startup time. |

gagan-
As much as I would like to be able complete your request, I leave in two days to do workshops in Europe for a month. There is a lot of packing to be done. I post quite often so a quick search will turn up a lot of photo samples for you. So, please understand, these are not serious test photos, but are photos pulled from a recent student shooting sessions. That is the best i can do on this very short notice. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() MT |

I agree... it is not difficult and manual cleaning actually removes some of it if done right. |
