Which camera will yeild better images with lot of details. I am ready to buy one and it's so hard for me to make the decision.

Both cameras will provide excellent image quality. It's difficult to compare these cameras since they are so different. The 7070 has more MP, but less zoom...the 7070 uses a proprietary Li-Ion battery, the S5100 uses AA's. The 7070 is more expensive than the S5100.

You need to go to a store and play with both cameras for awhile - see which feels more comfortable in your hand and which features are best for your intended use of the camera.

Good luck.

I have looked at both of these to buy, the fuji is better built and has a more powerful flash-peter

Both cameras are good, and they are well balanced and take good photos. But they are not directly comparable. The S5100 offers good value for it's price, andis one of the better handling cameras's in its price range, and is also agood newby camera for someone moving up from the simpler P&S cameras.

But the 2 cameras are not direct competitors. The C7070 is larger and more expensive, with a more extensive feature list for the more experienced user. You need to think hard about how you will be using your camera, and under what shooting conditions. No one can be sure of which camera would be better for you based on the little info you provided.

And I must stronglydisagree with Thai3: The C7070 is very well built, with a very strong magnesium all metal body.
