Hi everybody
i would like to count on your help, to help choose between these two cameras, the f11 and the 560000. i can get very similar prices on these. i know they are completely diferent, but i`m looking for above all, image quality straight from the camera. wich one is better? |

I own both the F-10 and the S-5200 which are very similiar to the F-11 and the S-5600 cameras, and I prefer the F-10 to the S-5200.

The thing is that the Fujis f10-f11-f20-f30 and now the upcoming s6500 all benefit image-wise from that awesome couple that is the 1/1.7inch 6.3mp sensor and great in-camera noise reduction algorithms. I use the f10 and beside the purple fringing that comes up in very bright lighting conditions (and this is a common factor of many many P&S cameras so no worries), I have nothing to reproach to this camera. If I were you I'd wait up for the S6500 just because it offers a bang out array of features: great lens (wide to tele, wide starting from 28mm and not 36mm like the f11), great sensor and great in-camera noise-reduction algorithms proved and tested since the birth of the f10. And I reckon the s6500 will also improve your picture taking skills beyond what a compact can do. The one thing I don't like about the s6500 is that it uses AA bateries but that is a strictly personal preferance of mine.
I used a friend of mine's s5200/5600 and allthough it is a great camera, I would stick with my f10 just because I like to shoot at higher ISOs a lot and the s5200/5600 does a poorer job at it than the f10. |

yeah i guess the s6500 would be a better bet, but it would probably a lit more expensive than i was hopping for.
i have seen hundreds of sample pictures on the web of both cameras and it seems that f11 has more vivid colours...but i`m no expert, that`s why i ask for your opinion. my preference its on quality of picture. thanks for your opinions |

Well, if you don't need the extra zoom that the S-5600/S-6500 can provide for you, then go with the F-11.
