S5000 - discontinued model, 3 MP, 10 zoom
S602Z - discontinued model, 3 MP 6x zoom S5100/5500 (same camera) - current model, 4 MP, 10x zoom - good camera S5200/5600 (same camera) - current model, 5 MP, 10x zoom - improves on S5100/5500 with larger sensor, 1 additional MP, higher ISO rating, faster startup time, shorter lag time, better macro, larger LCD. If you can afford it, I'd recommend the S5200/5600. If not, you should be able to get a good deal on the S5100/5500 now that the S5200 has been released. I have the S5100, and am extremely pleased with it. Good luck. the Hun |
