I have a friend who is thinking of buying a new digital camera. She can't decide between the Fuji S5200 or the Sony DSC-H1. I have the Fuji and she has tried it and really likes it. I know nothing about the Sony. She wants a camera that will take good portraits and outdoor shotsand be fast enough for sports shots and low light shots WITHOUT LOOSING THE SHARPNESS. I really like my Fuji but someone told her the Sony was the better camera. What do you guys think?

The Sony H-1 is a fine ultra zoom camera, but it is surely not a low light level camera. On the other hand, the Fuji S-5200 is a very good low light level camera,as well as good all around camera.
I truly believe that your friend, has to make us her mind about which is it that she wants to do. MT |

When there's sports involved, especially if it's something else than outdoor sport Fuji would be considerably better.
