I am wanting to get a cheap but yet resonable quality footage camcorder for my trip to Japan in a month. I don't want anything big....I was looking at the Xacti's but I am worried about the quality. Does anyone have any ideas within the $300-$800 Cdn dollar range that I should look at.
Any help would be appreciated. I just don't want anything big. I already have a Canon GL2 but that's way too big. I'm bringing my Nikon D80 as well.
looking forward to some suggestions

The most important thing is to get a model that is available in your part of the world, and then to be sure that ithas an international warranty that is good inyour own country.
