With Christmas around the corner we're looking at the Kodak EasyShare C713 ($80) for our 12-year old daughter, I know this is a good entry-level camera but is there anything else compatible I should be looking at for around the same price range from Kodak, or other companies such as Canon?
Thanks!, Wesley |

I know you don't want to spend too much, but if you are willing to spend 20 or 30 dollars more, you will have a lot more choices. The very good Canon A590 is selling for $114 with free shipping at one very reputable etailer. Go to pricegrabber to check it out.
I got the C613 for some in-laws last year. It takes ok pictures in good light. The flash is kind of weak though. the A590 takes better pictures, is built more sturdily, and has lots of different settings that will teach your daughter more in the long run. Go to dealsofamerica for other hot deals on cameras. |
