hey all,
Well I bought a canon powershot a95 early last year and after playing around with it and experimenting I quickly realized that to take the kind of pictures I'm looking to take I'm going to need to get a much more flexible camera namely a digital slr camera. However, I am a college student (thus poor) and am still somewhat new to taking pictures as art, so I am looking to get a good fairly flexible digital slr camera for around $700 - 900 for the base unit (no lenses). I've looked at the rebel xt and it looks nice but I can't figure out what lenses work with it or where to find the lenses etc. (im a newbie to slr) So im basically just looking for some good suggestions and advice. Thanks - legit |

legit-
You might want to take a look at the Olympus E-500 or E-300 two lens kits. They offera lot of bang for the buck and you get two quality lenses that cover everything from 28mm to 300mm (in 35mm terms). MT |

Another nice entry level is the Konica Minolta 5D with anti-shake.

The Rebel XT comes with an 18-55 lens if you buy the kit.
