the great debate, xt vs d40

sadly, their still over budget. im looking around the 350 pricerange. so thats why im looking into superzoom cameras.

after looking at flickr.com and looking at canon s3 is picks, im very impressed and shocked that those are from an advanced point and shoot. i want to get into the art of photography on a limited budget, and this cam seems to be the best way for me to get started. also being a smaller camera, its much more portable, expecialy with me going on the bus downtown everyday, its much easier and safer for me to bring a superzoom instead of an slr, due to the size.
