Hi
People Ive been shooping around for a few weeks now i was going to go for an dslr d50 then decided may be a SLR is not for me and to go for an advance digital.....anyhow heres my story Im walking the Cornish Coast uk 456miles of it and camping out all the way setting off next tuesday and im desperate to choose a camera ...... This is why im asking here..... What im after... over 5mp wide angle & good close up picture quality very very important will be taking alot of far scene and sun set pics ect ect the unit must be very robust built like a tank its walking 456 miles and camping dont forget also batterys that dont cost an arm and a leg (cheap) Any help i would be very greatfull for I have around £250 to spend new or used and only 5 days to sort it Kind Regards Simon |

S7000 good choice, £220 new on amazon or 7dayshop, also Canon s2 IS similar money great abilities. i would NOT want to lug a DSLR kit on that journey my friend:-)

Ive been scanning around and the cameras that seems to please me is the new Panasonic Lumix FZ7 mixed reviews on this unsure ....around £235 new or i can get a nikon 8700 for £185 2nd hand but ive been reading that this eats batterys not good for my trip a little worried bout gettin 2nd hand any other cams i need to decide soon ![]() Still need help guys n girls Regards Simon |

A200 V nice but well over budget £350 refurb, Wide angle AND superzoom comes at a price im afraid. how about this Kodak it has 5X optical zoom and a 23mm wideangle lens too.http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/stor...amp;tabIndex=1

Right guys and girls its time to buy from looking around i can go for these two
both panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ5K with 1 gb sd £200 or panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7 with no memory £246 What do you reakon any body welcome to add there total opinion Regards Sy |
