Is there a camera that is completly controllable by a computer?

I'm looking for a camera that I can remote control by a computer untethered, not just ability totransfer files.I am aware of software that allows control via USB cable particularly for Canon and Olympus cameras.

The Canon 40D has that capability when you use it with the WFT-E3A grip. I have posted a link below for you to check out:

Heck if you really want to empty your wallet you can even add a compatible GPS unit to the above option and have your coordinates stored right in the header file of the image.
