I recently purchased the Canon SD450 on clearance for $199 and the Fuji FinePix F20 for $159. The price difference is not a big deal for me but I want to know what camera you would recommend for normal use (i.e., family functions, weddings, etc.). I had a Sony DS-1 and hated it because of the poor flash and long shutter time. Please help.

If you have them both, why don't you use them both and see which one is the best for your intended use?

Why would you buy two cameras you know nothing about, then ask us which one we recommend?

Got both because the canon was the last in stock and the Fuji was on sale- didnt want them to run out.

I'm guessing that if you were to open either package, you could loose return rights or have to pay a restocking fee...?

I think the Fuji F20 is a better, more versatile camera. Small cameras are always going to have issues with flash range, but at least with the F20 you can boost the ISO to help compensate, and still get a decent photo.

Both cameras should be pretty quick in terms of shutter speed and shot-to-shot times.
