Default Help with choosing a compact ultrazoom camera

Hello everyone

I want to buy a good, compact ultrazoom camera. I was thinking to buy the Canon Powershot SX130 IS, but after some research I saw that other companies, such as Panasonic, Samsung and even Sony, have similar models. However, there are so many models that I can't decide which one is preferred. I would appreciate any help with guiding me to choose the right camera(same price range as the SX130 IS).

If you don't mind the size of the SX130, there's no reason to look elsewhere. If you need a pocketable camera, then there are definitely some other options to consider from Panasonic and Samsung. Sony ... not worth considering imho.
