I want to buy a small (pocket size) digital camera for my wife for christmas. It will be her first digital camera. Looking for ease of use, and quick time between shots. Camera will primarily be used for family photos, baby pictures, etc, so need good flash. Image stabilization a plus.

If you want the fast shot to shot then the <$200 range Kodaks just wont do it. Look at the A540 or A530 of Canon. They are kind of slow when recharging the flash, but are very speedy when shooting regularly. I seen post on the internet that said the A540 would be $127 for black friday.
