Hi all,

I have just come across this forum and its great, alot of knowledgable

people and information. Now to my 'problem', I am ungrading from

a point & click APS camera to a digital and I am looking for one

which should last in technological and quality terms for at least 2 years.

The reviews I have read seem to indicate the 945 is a good option at

a price of £183 ($342), but they are nearly all from last year,

therefore how does it stand up against the current crop of

cameras and is there another model I should consider which has

similar features ?. I will be using the camera for general 'fun' snaps

and producing pictures to use on E-Bay.

Thanks for any advice. :homey:

SciFi - I asked a similar question in the HP forum and have gotten no replies. Have you found out anything? I'm curious because I will soon have a (free) HP 720 with the dock, which should also work with the 945. Steve's review from last year sounds good, and a friend of a relative is pleased with hers - as far as hearsay goes - but there are a lot of new models out. Just curious if you've gotten any insight from any other sources.

I suggest you have a look at: www.hp945.com

HP945 is a bit old (was released in August 03), but I believe it is good value for money.
