Bera in mind that the sensor on the D70 gives a narrower field of view than 35mm cameras. Your 70-300mm lens will give a field of view equivalent to a 105-450 zoom on film.

The only reason I would switch to digital is cost...I love my 35mm...I posted some photos a few minutes ago
