Hello! I am new to this forum, but all of my digital cameras were bought after reading Steve's conclusions. I am not an experienced photographer, but I like taking a lot of shots in numerous situations.
Now I am in a dilema. I currently own a Fuji S7000 and a Canon A 510. I like the Canon because it has more presets scenes (snow, underwater, indoor and fireworks). BTW, I captured some great, colorful shots with Canon in fireworks mode, but didn't succeed to take pics with fuji on program ae mode. Now, I wish to buy a Canon S3, which I understood that is a great camera, and sell my Fuji. But it is worth it? The only minuses about Fuji are the facy that it uses "passive focus" and it has no imnage stabilizer. FIRST QUESTION: What shoud I do? Sell Fuji and buy Canon S3? SECOND QUESTION: Can I take shots of fireworks with fuji? And in what mode (night, program ae etc..??) THIRD QUESTION: What are the SCN modes of Canon S3? Please, if you can, answer my questions. Thanks a lot. |
