I held the same prejudice toward the Panasonic name, but the good things I read about the FZ10 in reviews and from its owners finally convinced me to give it a try. I am now a confirmed believer in this wonderful camera.

What you have said about ISO is true for most point and shoot digital cameras. But, here is a straight out of the F-10 photo taken handheld and without flash at ISO 1600 that does not show harly any noise.

The Fuji F-10 is a very capable and amazing point and shoot digital camera.
