kodak v550 OR canon a530?
hi! pls advise, which camera will be better for low light indoor photography. i cannot use external flash, so will be depending on the camera's inbuilt capabilities. Also i would like good sharpness and colour(hue) accuracy. which of the two models should i go for? thanks in advance. |

I do like the v550 as a good compact camera, but I would choose the a530 in this case. The 9-point AF will be appreciated more in the low light conditions. But you need to understand that no camera with a small lens is going to perform well in low light situations. The a530 definitely will have its limits as well.

Take a look at the Fuji F-10 which has a top ISO setting of ISO 1600.

Thanks Kalel and mtclimber.
I appreciate both yours comments very much. Thanks. Fuji and Panasonic (which i would have liked to consider for OIS) are unfortunately not available or servicable at my location, otherwise, they would have been my top most choices. So from canon and kodak, and with a very modest budget that i have at the moment, i guess, i will take canon a530 and try and get the best possible shots i can! Thanks a lot for ur kind advise. u guys r really great! ![]() |
