They don't even have an address that I can find on their web site. If you want to give your money away, send it to me. :-)
Again, Suggested Reading: How to Buy a Digital Camera without being Robbed If you want a reputable dealer that will ship to locations outside of the U.S. and won't try to rob you, try http://www.bhphotovideo.com Another reputable dealer that will ship outside of the U.S. is http://www.17photo.com/ |

You can't be too careful anymore. There are too many scam artists around.
Some of them are actually very well known, and they seem to be able to get away with it in some areas (Brooklyn, NY is where most of them are located). They frequently start new companies using different names, too. Use http://www.resellerratings.com to research any vendor you consider. Beware of new companies that are not listed, or those that have a small number of customer reviews (since vendors have been caught trying to pad their own ratings with glowing reviews). There are some lower priced vendors that are reputable. For example, http://www.beachcamera.com in the U.S. usually has a very good price on cameras. But, watch out for their accessories prices (much higher than others for name brand memory cards, etc.). They have to make a profit somewhere if they're selling the camera bodies for such a good price. ;-) I don't think they ship outside of the U.S., though. Your best bets in U.S. vendors that ship outside of the U.S. are B&H at http://www.bhphotovideo.com and 17th Street Photo at http://www.17photo.com These are reputable dealers that will not try to rob you like some of the Brooklyn based scam artists will. I would not hesitate to buy from these dealers. As for the last two dealers you mentioned, they're not getting my credit card numbers (at least not from me). lol But, your best bet is to buy locally if you can. For one reason, manufacturers can be picky about warranty work. For example, Nikon will not service a camera that was intended for sale outside of the region you're trying to get it serviced in. |

I'm not familiar with them. But, at least they've got an address listed. ;-)
About Us Page They've got a good rating at resllerratings.com: http://www.resellerratings.com/seller8924.html I wouldn't normally be comfortable with just 2 customer reviews (especially when none of them are current). If you found them in one of the price search engines, I'd make sure to read through all of the customer reviews and look for any suspicious patterns (for example, very bad reviews mised in with reviews that sound too good to be true). lol It doesn't hurt to be cautious. |
