i have begun a search again for a small, compact camera that takes great pictures and fits in my purse. i was looking at the sony t100. but many people don't seem to like the low light pics. i know panasonic is coming out with a wide angle version that seems to have all the bells and whistles (plus, it's made by leica). and kodak has a new one coming out that's good on paper.

any suggestions?

I don't know if they are small enough for you, but the Fuji F31fd and F40fd are relatively small and great at low light shots. The former uses just xD cards, but the latter uses xD and SD cards.
