I am looking to upgrade from my Cannon Power Shot S2 IS. I have found it to be a great camera with a good medium form factor as far as portibility. I would like to get into maybe a SLR?, or is the expense of just getting a Canon PowerShot SX20 worth it?

That decision is a hard and rather personal call. However, the dollar difference between a Canon SX-20 and the Canon XS or XSi continues to narrow considerably. There is a $100 instant rebate on the Canon XS, and a $200 rebate on the XSi two lens kit that gives you the highly reviewed Canon 55-250mm lens for what amounts to just $30. That is a deal. It is available at Amazon and Buy-Dig. Sarah Joyce |

Thanks Sarah! I appreciate. I have had my current S2 for so long that all the adjustments are second nature on the fly to me. It has traveled well to Europe and Indonesia. I use it at air shows, NASCAR events and just everyday shooting, as I have found it not bulky to travel with or hold. The SLR form I know is a little larger and I am curious as to the XS and XSi kit that you speak of? Could you direct me to a little research please?

Hi there, Mike-
I too used to have a Canon S-2 that was my constant companion. Here is a link to the information about the canon XS and XSi I was discussing. http://www.usa.canon.com/app/pdf/Pro...eos_110109.pdf Have a great evening. Sarah Joyce |

Heck of a deal on Canon DSLR! There is also a combo deal with big rebate buying a selected printer. With the rebate the printer is free but you have to shell out $500 more.
