I'm looking for a good low light camera with a fast continous shot mode.
My Panasonic camera will take and record about 35 frames - 4MP every 20 sec. but it's not verygood in low light. I really don't want to replace it, but would like to get another camera to go with it for the low light stuff. Fuji has several with ISO of 800 & 1600 that take great photos, but they are unacceptably slow in continous mode, about 5 frames in the same 20 sec. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks, Don |

thts a tough one ther mate
i mean i can only think of the fujis as well. they seem to be the only ppl really venturing out into the super hi iso levels over 1000. ovfouce the noise is starting to get high as well so its sorta a game of "you be the judge" wen choosing an idea iso level. Ummmmmm i have noticed some of the newer sonys venturing into the 1000iso level but not sure how fast they are thogh but if u dont mind spending a bit i would say canon 350d. dslr have clean images upto and around iso800 i think it is. its a nice quick cam. 8mp so tons of res. ken |

Both the Canon 350D/XT and the Nikon D-50 have a max ISO capability of 1600. The D-50 is selling for around $550 and the XT is selling for around $699.
The Pentax DL is selling for BELOW $500 and has a max ISO setting of 3200. All of these dSLR cameras offer fast rapid shooting. MT |
