I'm looking for a good low light camera with a fast continous shot mode.
My Panasonic camera will take and record about 35 frames - 4MP every 20 sec. but it's not verygood in low light. I really don't want to replace it, but would like to get another camera to go with it for the low light stuff. Fuji has several with ISO of 800 & 1600 that take great photos, but they are unacceptably slow in continous mode, about 5 frames in the same 20 sec. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks, Don |

for low light (without a flash) the fuji have about the best you will get in a consumer model. Otherwise you will have to step up to a DSLR, such as the Minolta 5D or rebel XT along with a fast lens.

looks like you posted at dpreview also and got few to no responses there, too. have you tried the buying guide at dpreview? you can search by features. if you find something you think looks right, steve will probably have a review that can give you more details. i don't know enough about all the cams, but i think you may well end up having to look at a dslr. there are some smaller, less expensive ones, but you will also have to take into account the lens cost (and whether the lens is the right one for your needs).

You can consider KM 5D, Nikon D50, Canon XT.
KM 5D might beuseful with its anti-shake. Nikon D50 is great at high ISO's. |
